Croft Farm Water Weekend – September 2019 – Information for participants

Saturday 21st to Sunday 22nd September 2019.

Times –

Saturday registration from 8.30 till 09.45am. Collect Sunday at 3pm.

What you need to bring:-
  • Own tent, or arrange to share.
  • Sleeping Bag & roll matt, pillow, blanket, Wash Kit
  • Torch / book / cards etc.
  • Chair
  • Mug / Plate / Bowl / Knife fork and spoon.

Paddling kit – ie Wet kit (you are after all paddling)

  • swimming kit
  • wetsuit – if you have one – but not essential
  • Waterproof cagoule or paddling Kag.
  • Trainers / plimsolls that can get wet.
  • Water bottle
  • Strong bin bag for wet clothing.

Warm clothing for when your off the water plus for the evening – its September and it can get cold and wet.

  • Joggers,
  • Warm layers of T shirts,
  • Fleeces with long sleeves,
  • light trousers (not jeans)
  • another waterproof if you used your cagoule on the water

Plus

  • Towels (2)
  • Tea towel.
  • Uniform & Necker.
  • Consider a change of clothes in a dry sack.
  • Spare clothes, shoes.
  • Your own snacks and tuck.
  • Personal first aid (First aid & first aid personal will be on site in main tent)

Money – whilst there is no camp tuck shop there is a small café on site which you may wish to use. Plus we may have some small items for sale at the camp.

Change of details ( including MEDICAL CONDITIONS)

If ANY of the joining details have changed from when you registered on line leading upto the weekend, you must advise the organisers at camp registration.

FOOD

Lunch (sandwiches) will be provided on Saturday and Sunday with a breakfast on Sunday morning.

Saturday evening will be food from a local fish and chip shop, you will need to order via the on line booking form.

DIETARY Requirements

Will be taken from you’re on line form, any changes must be advised before 5th September.

NAN

Leaders – there is NO need to complete a NAN form this will be covered by the organisers.

When you drive into the camp site when you reach the fork in the road, turn left and go down the hill, there will be a security barrier, we will have a person manning the barrier to let you in. If the barrier is closed then please call one of the camp team – numbers provided in the email sent to you.

IF YOU HAVE NOT REGISTERED ON LINE AND COMPLETED THE FORM, THEN PLEASE DO NOT TURN UP ON THE DAY. NO FORM NO ACTIVITY.
